SPX and COMPX ran into September downtrend lines today:

Until we get closes above 10,650, 1275 and 2320, this should probably be characterized as a bounce, IMHO. Weakness in INDU not encouraging, but it did outperform the last two days.

JRI: It was more of an impressive open than rally. The open accounted for more than 70% of the gain today. The COMP has been trading in a tight range from 2200 to 2240. Given the ZTRIN staying around .25 most of the day, I would have expected a steady upward rally but it did not happen. We may just finish out near flat for the day with a DOJI. GH
