I have had the experience of thinking of what seemed like a new idea and seeing an advertisement for a new product that is like my idea. The reason ancient Greeks may have thought of the ideas you have is that they had similar concerns and attitudes as you are having. So they attribute similar meanings. But if you read a new book or meet a new friend with different ideas, you would likely attribute different meanings to things. No superordinate purpose in which the circumstances derive meaning. Had there been one, you may have filtered the data and not had fragmentation.
