I'm a bit confused over this statement.

Why would DoCoMo ever pay Qualcomm for their IPR? Is there any conceivable scenario where DoCoMo will owe money to the Q directly?

Does DoCoMo plan on going into the manufacturing biz sometime soon?

If not, why engage in this charade? Why not say, flat out, that DoCoMo as an end user, doesn't deal with IPR issues, that is dealt with by the manufacturers?

It never stops does it? On so many levels too.

Like the energizer commercial, the fud keeps going and going and....
