L.H: The semis were in a decending trading range that started about May 95 ended June 96. If we use AMAT as Bell weather it was on 9/9/95 $13.8 and on 24 July 96 $5.625. What was interesting was in evry Q there were Bulls pushing for higher prices and after every earnings a bigger sell off.

If you had to use 95-96 valuations , the chart would be different. The NAZ bubble has helped to temper the slide.
