Based on afterhours news and such, it seems to me that tomorrow may be a pretty big ouch for longs.

I like Sergio's ALLY, and may get a chance to pick some up a little cheaper tomorrow.

ARTG is a pretty volatile stock, and it's given me both pleasure and pain.

I'm looking to short AMAT tomorrow since the semi's look like they may be slapped around in the very near future.

Re: shorting. I make no moral judgements against anyone's use of any valid tools within the market to make money. The market rarely only goes up, and whether one likes or dislikes shorting, the fact is that a trader loses out on 50% of stock movements if they only play long.

After sitting on my hands for 2 months last autumn waiting for things to turn up, I decided to get a margin account and give this shorting a try. I've never regretted it.

Now I can make money just by watching and playing a single stock. But that would be more boring than my office job, LOL.

Have a good evening...and remember, sunshine tomorrow (for a day). Enjoy while you can.
