Nope, I did not create any disks.

There are no Norton Rescue Disks for W2K? The manual says to create them, is Systemworks for Windows products other than Windows 2000?

if you do not have the disks, you can use the recovery console from the w2k cd. the w2k 'getting started' manual has more on that

We tried the W2K CD and the Recovery Console, sorry I thought I mentioned that in the first message. Large size Nope there. W2K seems very different than Win98. Even DOS Commands were coming back with new and unusual error messages. After awhile I was getting so confused I started to type in UNIX commands. I have not typed UNIX in 12 years. Had Fortran IV started showing up on the screen I would have been certain I was time travelling.

Anyway, my son just walked out mentioning that his Linux machine has been up 134 days straight as of tonight.

It shall be a Supreme Testament to Willpower if I do not happen to pull the plug and let him start his damn 134 days at Day One again.

When you get a chance, let me know about this SystemWerks. The manual shows how to create Rescue Disks. Are you saying that they will not work?
