THREAD, THIS IS GOOD: No, Rich, they just know what it took to EARN that money. Perhaps one day you too will be GS-13 or higher, and that wisdom will be imparted to you. There's this strange belief among the beltway democrats that anyone that EARNS more than $200,000 per year was actually secretly born a Rockefeller or Vanderbilt. Truth is, most of those people are self-made, and get penalized for being successful. You hurt them, you hurt the people that they take along for the ride (see "the people they employ"). I am very well to do, but when Uncle Sam hits me, the less I put back into my business = the fewer products I sell, and the fewer people I employ. My lifestyle changes not (since my excess capital is put into investment, and not into luxurious living). Rich, welcome to REALITY. ~SB~

You might be wrong part of the time Rich. I'm no GS-13, and I've been a Republican for 30 years. Mr. Clinton saw to it that there were many very high GS-level Democrats in the agency I work in. It will take years for the damage they caused to be undone.
