Hi Wayne, I take it you meant previous few posts? Make sure that you find out who owns the revenue producing assets of the companies. I used to play a stock called FMEP(Freeport McMoran Energy Partners) a subsidiary of Freeport McMoran for price swings before and after the dividend to pick up around a 30% gain. It was an energy company with a high dividend yield based on revenues it recieved from the sale of oil from some of Freeport McMorans oil wells. I went on a fishing vacation on a Wed. and Freeport McMoran announced on Thursday that they were going to be selling the oil wells and that FMEP would only have one more dividend payout and then become defunct. The stock dropped from 8 to 4 in one day and I was fully margined without a stop loss, Very stupid on my part. That was an expensive fishing trip. Thanks for the heads up on the stocks, I will check them out. Sincerely, bbgold :^)
