clinton did pardon hundreds of non-violent drug offenders with unfair sentences but all we'll hear about is the bro in law crap. The last chance for drug policy reform left town..at least in the mid term

the tax cuts are a joke IMO...pandering...playing to the gallery...etc

expressed in sound bytes anymore.

You're quite right about what people will remember.

I believe that the more times people are told the
same thing, they eventually believe it because they've
heard it before and it therefore has the ring of truth.

That's what politicians do every weekend. They all get the
same memos from their PR firms about how they will
handle the crisis or controversy du jour.

That's where words like gravitas come from.
