I agree. We didn't even know how innocent we were then. Our fathers had just got back from fighting a war. I guess we were too busy hero worshipping to think about really bad stuff like what's going on today.

Speaking of heroes. Do we have any that aren't manufactured and marketed in the ring or field? I know I had some, but do such exist today?

Is that the problem?

I don't plan to buy one because the one I have is enough. It was made by Rudy. I understand his son is now making the knives, so there's a difference. I've heard the son's knives are just as good but don't have the aura yet.

I once left my Ruana stuck in a tree on a snowshoe trip. When I got home with an empty sheath, I realized it and went back the next evening in the dark to get it. I'd have been crushed if it were lost.
