Hi Puck,

Ericsson's LMDS solution, MINI-LINK BAS does not use CDMA, however many of the '4G' developers are combining CDMA and OFDM (e.g. www.flarion.com), and so might use Qualcom's intellectual property.

I doubt there can be enough satellite transponders for 'universal wireless broadband access,' if you mean to EVERY home. There will be, if you mean to ANY home.

Qualcomm's technological relevance, like HP's or Intel's, depends on what they invent/acquire, not their past.

The Qualcomm Culture Club is what you question.
