The Democrats are this generations version of the 1950 republicans. Republicans held big majorities in the 50's. Nixon coopted democrat positions much like clinton did with republican ideas.. Republicans with a new philosophy came back into power in the 80' s after 20 years out. This could be the democrats 20 year out period coming up. And we will see about nasdaq and amat. We are exactly a year away from 5k. At that time Abbey recommended caution, now she is bullish. Last year all the earnings were rosy and contiued that way thru the end of the year while during that time nasdaq began to fall. This years 2k could be last years 5k. So dont get too overconfident that a bottom has not been reached. I would hate to see you make a bad bet on the market while out of power for 20 years. I recommend that you set up a hot line for recovering demoholics. Good Luck. Mike
