Where did you get 264 million Palm shares from? There are only 10.3 million shares of XTND outstanding, and it's a 1:1 exchange unless PALM is under $22 in June, and even then it's only 1.375:1.

Palm will issue 10.3 million new shares in June for the purchase of XTND, only a minor dilution of the existing 570 million or so outstanding. How does that lead to a short squeeze? There may be a short squeeze if Palm blows away earnings estimates as Tom is forecasting they will, but it won't have anything to do with the XTND acquisition.
