There are a number of reasons for my reverse proposal. A number of firms Including ML won't trade (EVEN when the customer demands it) in sub $3 stock. You can guess all the reasons (and the reasons for not are??), not the least of which is an indication of management of sincere effort to turn the company and it's perception around. Not many really credible co's trade for this low. What's the gain versus the cost in it? {Other than making market makers happy perhaps.)

A series of concrete steps are necessary to restoring credibility. Project execution of course is key - but I'd take a comprehensive approach as a measure of sincerity.

LOILY question

Does anybody have a speculation on exit rate production for 2001? Will any new fields be on line by December?

I'm thinking about doing a "Richard Rainwater big bet" with this stock in my IRA.

Sorry I haven't been following this board much but I intend to start.

Alan don't expect Dan to do much work on this the DD is pretty tough. Why else would I be asking stupid questions.

Luck to all

Scott

ps: Big gas day for me thanks RD.

Glad to hear that. I think its highly unlikely a reverse split will be proposed.

If they are projecting $2.50 per share in cash flow by 2003 (not inc Sudan) we're looking at a min of a $10 share price
