OT, OT, Re : "How about this:
0% of babies in the world were carried out and
are born by men. What a terrible discrimination!"

One of the most idiotic things I have heard. Just in case, you were not aware, biologically today, men cannot get pregnant and have babies. Is that the case with women being the CEOs ?

would you also have justified slavery and women right (not) to vote 200 years ago ?

Maui.

Ali, <<<".5% F500 CEOs are women"
How about this:
0% of babies in the world were carried out and
are born by men. What a terrible discrimination! >>>

In case you are not aware of it, there are many in this country who are trying to get rid of racism, sexism, and any other type of hatred based on viewing individuals as some form of object.

Of course you are free to make any comments you wish. This is a free society.

*** OT ***

From first grade, I recall girls being much less likely to enjoy math than guys. When I went to college as an engineering student, I expected to see chicks galore (yes, I was naive -g-). But, the guy:girl ratio was 3:1, and the girls were generally really lame, academically speaking. Of the 10-15 powerhouse students in my class (out of 200), not one was female. It has been shown that males are genetically more disposed to genius, as well as retardation. It has also been shown that, as infants, females tend to study the facial expressions of those around them, while males tend to study their physical surroundings, especially moving parts such as doors. Of course, the biochemical differences that make women unique allow them to shine in many aspects of life. But, today's materialistic society has deemphasized those aspects of life, and thus makes women feel inadequate.

From the 1983-84 testing period through 1988-89, the ratio of the absolute numbers of girls to boys scoring above 600 on the math section of the SAT, a fairly high score, is 1.84 boys to girls, almost two to one. The ratio above 700, a quite high score, is 3.13 boys to girls. Above 750, which begins to be high indeed, 4.79 boys to girls. For scores of 800, there are 7.61 boys to girls. (The distribution is symmetrical: Men also predominate on the low wing of the distribution, which, along with greater aggressiveness, probably accounts for the roughly ten-to-one preponderance of males in prisons.)

From the very high scorers come the prominent engineers and research scientists. This goes a long way toward accounting for the predominance of men in the hard sciences. (On the verbal test, the differences are much smaller. For example in the same testing period there are 1.32 males per female with scores of 800.)
