fyo, I'm beginning to think that the only 1.33 to be released this quarter will be a TBird. The few Palomino's that finish production this quarter will be notebook chips for the 3/19 launch. That would still be consistent with "Production 1Q01" if I interpret "production" to mean "wafer starts sometime during."

I think Intel is still sweating 3/19. A GHz PIII laptop chip is really bogus on 0.18. Even a 900 or 933 is a real stretch in terms of power consumption. If they announce that it will be pure vapor.

Where can I read benchmarks, like testing for battery life and Sysmark performance, for laptops? I'd like to see some comparisons of the best of Intel and the best of AMD on 3/19, comparing laptops side by side on batteries and on A/C.

<EDIT>I take the "no TBird's in Q2" to mean, no TBird wafer starts in Q2.</EDIT>
