fwiw, my 97 s500 mercedes, which i bought new, drives like a new car...has never had a reliability glitch even in the least...and that's five years and almost 100k miles later.

when you take your Beemer in for service they charge you $300 to say "good moring sir." Another $150 to fill out a service order.
i do not think i ever walked away paying less then $600 for any service visit and some in the thousands. Lexus is a dream compared to BMW.

Mike, ask your auto body man which car he would prefer in a head on collision BMW or Honda, Toyota . I'd take the BMW. All cars have come a long way since the 60s. mike
