You and the rest of the NRA repeat your mantra over and over...guns do not kill, people do....hoping that we will believe you. Generally I like people to believe the truth, but if you choose not to that is your perogative. 209.25.215.117 You say that you are this incredibly small organ. with little funds when any informed person knows the truth. I have never heard this claim. All I said is that the NRA is not overwhelmingly powerful. It has influence but so do its oppoenents. You live in some incredible denial that the policies that are strongly influenced by NRA have little impact on our day-to-day culture. I'm not sure specifically what you are refering to here. And that the horrible things that people claim are happening because of guns will not happen to you because you live in 'safe' areas.....when that just is not true anymore. I am unlikely to be killed by gunfire. This is true. It is also true that outlawing guns wont keep guns out of the hands of most violent criminals, anymore then outlawing drugs has shut down the drug problem in the US. And then you take umbrage with Scumbria for a little bit of sarcasm.....go figure! I didn't take umbrage at the sarcasm. The whole post was sarcastic but that did not bother me. I treated each of the points that was making sarcastically the same as if he was making them directly. He said "the schools are getting safer". Meaning (because he was sarcastic) that they are not and apparently that I was crazy to think they are. I pointed out that I never said they where getting safer. Tim
