alomex, yes, but were all 100k used? i didn't read that any of the 100k were used - though i'm not up to date, either.

i had my credit card number stolen at a restaurant and it was used for several hundred bucks. never had it stolen on the net.

what is the revenue associated with net purchases? billions? 1% fraud is probably very normal to b&m businesses. was there $20 or $30 million in theft due to internet card number only? i haven't seen a number.

MEANINGFUL evidence would be to say what % of fraud is related to internet compare that to the b&m related fraud. my guess is that there isn't much difference - regardless of the headlines.
