John,

I was also thinking it would be interesting if Ali were to run into Amy and Mary in a dark alley somewhere.

Thanks for the laugh. My mind sent me back to Boston, where I saw most of my dark alleys (but Boston is a great town).

Tony

Not to be sexist, but wouldn't Amy and Mary "probably" be afraid of a rat in an alley?

John,
Ali got it right.

We did not choose our gender. An intelligent person regardless of gender would not have been excluded from founding a company such as Intel or the like. Smarts seem to me to be the only excluding factor. That factor also excludes a lot of men, even humble carl.

In the arena of business and technical competence women have a lot of distracting handicaps to overcome, such as having babies, talking about their hair or what clothes to wear, what finger nail polish or lipstick to use. The worthless details go on and on. Yes, the clothes all have to match, and it all clutters up the brain.

Regardless of gender people with upward mobility generally find themselves where their skills take them. All companies want the best people at the helm ....humble carl

PS: Get mad at me; I promise to remain silent.
