i find it funny managements are genius when stocks go up and they are bad when they go do. they are the same folks!

There are numerous companies with excellent management during this economic downturn which pressures the company's stock. Yet their managament is still highly regarded. Example: Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Texas Instrument, Oracle, and Qualcomm just to name a few.

As for Bezo, he was never considered an excellent manager even when amazon hit 400. He is an excellent salesman who can put a spin on a failed business model which wall street bought.

i agree. a lot of these tech co's were ipo's not that long ago, so there is still plenty of insider selling for the retail investor to suffer from. They won't move to the upside on news like they used to because the public floats are so much bigger than they used to be.
