Scumbria, I think the fact that the AMD thread hardly talks about AMD anymore is sad. I think what we need is a new moderated thread, moderated by tejek, who lets anything go. In other words, this new moderated thread would actually be totally unmoderated -- no interference from SI. Its for economic and political discussion loosely related to AMD. Call it the AMD economic & political discussion thread, or the AMD Off Topic Thread. Basically, I think I'd rather discuss politics with people who I already respect, even if their opinions differ from mine, than with "strangers." But, I don't think the thread that a newcomer to AMD will first look at should be the thread that is now called Advanced Micro Devices. Petz
