zbyslaw ---thanks for the report --- interesting that the cap ex spending is staying the same . Street.com had a report on Tuesday they think NT will warn again :

biz.yahoo.com

I have the feeling we will see another 10,000 workers laid off as NT has to make the tough decisions to back out of the legacy area . No overseas country will build the infrastrucutre for a wired phone system but will go with wireless and optical as the wave of the future for telecommunications . Really wish Roth would go ahead and build this news into the stock and make the tough decisions similar to what is going at WCOM . As long as they are having problems NT will have issues unless they downsize to become more efficient .

BEST WISHES
BILL
PS Per WCOM the long distance area is hurting them ---why not convert to the VIOP for the future and cut costs for the future ? Also has anyones long distance bill gone down this past year . Mine sure has not ---the rates have been the same for the last 18 months and I use MCI for my long distance ---I wonder if this is all smoke ?
