No problem, I feel Drive Image is one of the most important software packages I use, so I justify the cost.

Partition Magic, well, you only use that once in a blue moon, at least I do.

mag

i just finished another clean image using di3.0. i was thinking about your probs when i was creating the image.

here are a few thoughts/ideas.... nothing too scientific.

have you tried running di from floppy disk?

have you ever gotten an image copied successfully?

have you tried using no compression? try it, if you haven't.

do you turn off (uncheck) the "check for file system errors' option, under 'advanced options' (button) on the 'ready to create image file' page? i always create the image with that option off. while on that page, make sure each of the other four options are not selected either. click OK.

good luck

:)

Just wondering, can you post the make, model of computer, hardware inside, peripherals, software, etc..

Just wondering.

Seems like some manufacturers are getting too crazy with this proprietary thing. You can't do anything BUT what they specify to a computer without risking it going haywire.
