I mentioned a couple of other red flags in my note to John earlier. The local bubble station tech-guru is calling for new highs on bank index in a short order. I am loaded with BoNY (BK) puts! FWIW, check this out on the 'f*ckedcompany.com' The 3 Fuckateers The Bank of New York Rumor has it The Bank of New York is about to lose 3 of its largest clients within months. 1. JP Morgan 2. Bank of America/Nationsbanc 3. Alliance Capital BONY does securities processing and related crap... kinda like a DTC and retail banking firm rolled into one. With the JP and Chase merger being a done deal, JP Chase will get the Chase flunkies to handle the Mutual Fund Operations that BONY once did for them. Bank of America/Nations is just pissed at BONY and could leave at any time. Apparently Alliance is twice as pissed off. I used to use em, and I didn't like em either...
