"Crash" brought up a point I was thinking about today regarding the INTC slowdown as postulated by Andy Grove:

prudentbear.com

INTC’s chairman, Andy Grove, said last night that he didn’t expect chip demand to recover anytime soon. On the back of that, INTC rallied 5 percent. I guess people don’t think Andy knows what he’s talking about. After all, he’s just in that business and probably doesn’t look at stock charts, so what does he know anyway?

What indeed? He practically built INTC and the entire semiconductor industry single-handedly! What does that old fart know, anyways?<G>
