Now the subjective question is whether the current environment is equal to or worse than that of OCT 1998. I feel only somewhat confident that the 1400-1500 region on the NDX holds, but if the BTK and RUT and SOX crashes then maybe we see the 1100-1000 region(OCT 1998 bottom at 1063).

And per your calculation, a move to the 1100-1000 region, would then imply that the environment may be worse than that of OCT 1998
