Oh, the powers that be that run the nasdaq are indeed criminals, and will likely end up in jail if they don't flee the country within the next 12 months. Remember how, about a year ago, when Yahoo was falling off a cliff and dragging the entire nasdaq with it, the board of governors suddenly decided to put Yoo-hoo in the Nasdaq 100? Their decision sparked a 50% rally in YHOO over 2 days and pulled the market back from the abyss.

They knew EXACTLY what the Yahoo news was this time, because according to CNBC all material news has to be sent to them first. And they also knew it wouldn't look good for chief slut abby to pimp tech stocks with a 0% cash weighting on the same day the only profitable internet company announces they can't be profitable anymore because the industry had collapsed.

Think like a criminal, that's my motto. For every public action on wall street, assume the worst, and you're probably right. Abby was on pimp parade today for ONE REASON ONLY- they wanted to get the loudcloud IPO out the door today and gather the roughly 30 million in underwriting fees. Thats IT. Nothing more, nothing less. She was literally pimping for an IPO. You'd think after the Blodgett lawsuit these analysts would think twice before trying to manipulate the public.

How she sleeps at night is beyond me.

--------------------------------
the crooks at nasdaq decided to halt trading on their own...and on the same day abby tells everyone to buy techs....

T77:

I tend to agree. This whole thing just doesn't smell right. Yes, the YHOO poop wasn't nice, but there have been rafts of similar nasty corpses that have surfaced without the need to shut trading down for a day. Methinks the next few days will witness some interesting revelations. (g)
