True....yet.... I am working on my second novel, which I tried first as a treatment for film, and did get an offer but not one I liked sufficiently to do what I knew I must: hand it over for development and see it turned Hollywood in a way that would take my own creativity out of it. Inf act, I was asked to get rid of one of my characters or blend her into another one--ugh! So I decided to go the route I know best and write the book, and they can option it and do whatever they please. The two are totally different entities...I'm not sure if both can be done at once and achieve the same goals. Anyway it is exciting and I wish you the best!!
