Schawb does not offer options in an IRA.
Fido (fidelity) does and is cheaper as well.

Schwab could improve it for option traders if it had the capability to give regional option quotes and full screen option chains. If they combined this with their new commission schedule effective next month and allowed you to route the order via the web they could attract active option traders.

Good morning KFE & thread,

I know... I have mentioned it to them countless of times, in fact I do not understand why they do not do one of two things....

Either integrate cybercorp technology with their current clients, (or at least the most active), or alternatively, the ability to simply "add the cybercorp account" as if it was part of the main Schwab set of accounts. In this fashion I would not have to carry a separate set of records for that add-on account, different statements etc.

Anyway... since it does not depend on me, for now I will just have to continue the way I am. The new set of commissions will certainly help.

I see this AM that it is setting up to be a good day for me as far as BRCD & CIEN... I do not know about the NE and XTO positions yet, but I suspect they will be ok... actually on these two I will not mind if they put the shares to me (within reason of course).

The one to watch is ADBE (this one has given me a few scares, but I believe I will coast to the finish line without having to worry -gg- (the strike price in my puts is 25, so even if I have to buy them, I hope it won't hurt -g-)

As for the Option Investor... hmmmm naughty boys aren't they ? Oh well... reminds me of my days of bb's where the bs was freely distributed at random and without reservation.

Thanks for posting the Option Investor stuff, Ken. I can't say I'm terribly surprised, as I became frustrated by having to wade through tons of ads and testimonials whenever I received an email from them. I found they were far more bullish in their equity options plays than I was. What a shame. The two conferences I attended were very helpful, but OI has lost a lot of its luster in my eyes.
