Here is a chart that I find attractive. Let's see what happens.

stockcharts.com

1. The stock appears to be emerging from a period of low-volatility consolidation. Note the pinching of the bollinger bands indicating lower that normal volatility. Time and again, a lower-than-normal volatility seems to precede a dramatic move.

2. Note that all indicators used (MACD, RSI, CMF and accumulation/distribution line), all show positive.

Hi stoxguru. I don't have a position here.

I follow the stock but not closely.

Both CCI and RSI, at the top of the chart, look encouraging.
Both are rising out of the oversold zone.
That's usually bullish.

MACD is reflecting the recent price recovery.
MACD momentum lines haven't quite crossed, and therefore the MACD histogram hasn't gone positive yet.
A positive histogram would be encouraging but I'd be looking for the momentum lines to begin a clear uptrend before I'd read a lot into this.

Stochastic is beginning a nice uptrend that would support a MACD buy signal if one occurs.

Chaikin Money Flow has what I usually interpret as a bullish (improving) pattern.

Looks like most tech charts right now.
Likely going wherever the Nasdaq goes, IMO.

Cush

Stoxguru, this is an interesting chart. The indicators appear to have been pretty valid in the past.

I don't have a position here.

I use MACD for buy signals, and Stochastic for sell signals, usually.

A good MACD buy signal is often when the MACD momentum lines cross the zero line.
Take a look at the signal on about October 23rd, last year.

Then the chart entered an area that I find very hard to be patient with.
MACD continued a bullish uptrend but Stochastic started snaking around up in the overbought zone.

Then look at that clear sell from Stochastic on about January 1st, supported by a downtrend starting in the MACD.

Now,
MACD may be turning but, IMO, it's risky trying to anticipate buy signals.
There isn't one yet, as I read the chart.

Stochastic is now snaking around in the oversold zone.
I'd look for Stochastic to support a MACD buy signal, if it comes, by beginning a clear uptrend as well.

Chaikin Money Flow is negative which is usually bearish.

Remember, I'm just an amateur reading these charts to learn TA.

Good luck with things.

Cush
