The market anticipates. Check out the Naz for the last few months. This is probably already priced in. End-of-the world stories like this contribute to capitulation at the bottom.

People are remarkably oblivious to what is happening in Japan. The second largest economy in the world is going under and the perennial bulls take it as a positive sign of the bottom.
