Qcom shares have not languished. We are up 800% in three years. Qcom is now one of the top 20 largest companies and has a 40-50Billion dollar MKT cap and a forward PE of 45. In any NORMAL market enviroment this would be a very fair valuation for a HOT super dynamic company. The problem is that people here seem to believe that 100 forward PE's are warrented by ANY company no matter how great their prospects. If Qcom grows 50% a year for the next 5 years(which I doubt) the stock might be undervalued by 20%-30%. It is hardly languishing. In 1998 I bought Qcom which had grown revs by 50% for three years and its stock was trading at a forward 18PE. Then the stock was LANGUISHING. The sooner the bunch of you realize the prices at the top of the Mania were a once in a lifetime joke, and that those type of valuations will probably never occur in our lifetimes. Good stocks should sell at 1-1.5PEG Great stocks maybee 2. Heck I think Qcom is a good long term buy and 30% a year grower, its stock isint close to languishing. Wake up folks the party is over and the bar is closed.
