5 cents vs. 23 cents; anyone concerned, here, about the rather large shortfall?

imo, possibilities over a next quarter loss are real. sure, ahha will rebound with a recovery but investors/traders may not be inclined to wait that long and deploy money elsewhere.

TQNT did get a pop on the warning, but after a few days has trended back down toward yearly lows. I suspect AHAA will suffer the same fate, although I expect a mini rally into the FOMC after the NAZ loses another 120 points or so.

Whether the bottom is seen or not, depends on the state of the earnings reports in April. I have a feeling they won't be pretty and may call the second half recovery into question, thus a bottom probably will be reached in early summer, some sideways action, then, hopefully the market will again trend up in the 4th QTR 2001 into 2002.

During all this I suspect many great companies will be available on the cheap for a solid 9 month play into 2002, IMHO.

I may try and trade the expected FOMC rally, but be back out to scoop up the bargains in summer.

Just one man's opinion,

Tom
