<<You mean this one:

gulfstream.com

Nice!>>

Dalin: That's the plane the founder and CEO of Broadcast.com bought after he sold his company to YHOO for about a billion dollars in stock (i think he was smart enough to sell most of it last year too)...Talk about good timing! He admitted in a recent interview it was a crazy offer for his unprofitable software firm but he couldn't refuse....Now I believe he has a sports team in Texas, a G-V, and a few other nice toys. I think I heard him say he was the first to use a credit card to buy a Gulfstream online <VBG>....must be nice...lol. In a prior life I used to work for the President of a Fortune 1000 media company. We were based in Iowa but had TV stations and publishing operations around the country. When I traveled with the top execs on projects we never flew commercially. The company had 2 Learjets and its own pilots on call all the time. It was very convenient and nice way to travel. Yet, I can live without that type of perk.

I sure hope the founder of Broadcast.com is using some of his extra cash to help others in his community and around the world. Its very important to be a good steward of the resources that we have been given. And of course money will never buy happiness. There are many examples of this all around us today.

Best Regars,

Scott

BTW, i'm not against leasing a Gulfstream for a special vacation in the future <G>...oh well, its time to get back to work.

I really enjoy my Honda Odyssey though. No wonder American has favored vans: it's like driving a room around!
