Being a "full-time" bear is in my mind- un-American. While I wouldn't go so far as to question a permabear's patriotism, I do agree with Being a bear right now is as dangerous as being a bull in last year’s bubble. 'Tis truly remarkable, the inversion we've witnessed from a year ago - e.g. who's ignoring the Fed now. The way to make money long-term is to maintain an optimistic spirit and be flexible enough to change with market conditions. In other words, I’d rather wear the costumes than actually be the animal! Proper attitude and wary, opportunistic flexibility will "go far" in the market. JMO lurqer
