I know you used to be a holder of NTAP. What do you think of now at around 26 ?? I'm thinking of buying some, in hopes of a quick bounce~
JohnD-ever the optimist ;<)

JohnD,

I have some now that I bought in the low 30's and have decided I will sell half when it bounces....it is very weak and keeps getting downgraded.

However the one I would recommend as a stronger data storage play is BRCD although its been weak for several days now. I bought it at 34 two weeks ago. It keeps testing its low of $33-34...three times now.....and its held. I am hoping that it has bottomed 'cause I want to hold it long term even though it will be dead $$$ for a while.

Another stock I would recommend right now is KP, a natural gas stock. I picked up some at $21 and it sat for two weeks but it started picking up steam 3 days ago and is at $24 now and I believe it will run to at least $34 [its prior high] by earnings in April. If I am correct, that's a 33% increase in a month.

Its fundamentals are excellent and its growing like crazy. I plan to buy more today if $24 holds. Another cheaper NG is PQUE..that sucker been moving up fast as well. Also watch MTSN...the chip equipment maker...due to acquisitions, it will move up the food chain in the next semi cycle.

Do your own DD of course...hate to screw up someone else's portfolio. <g>

JohnD,

As an update, BRCD broke thru its 'old' low of $33.5 and hit $31. It must have bounced off $31 because it did not trigger my stop loss at $31.

But of course what I said earlier does not apply. It now appears all the data storage stocks will go lower. Proceed with caution.
