mr mark I agree with your points. I was just "up to here" with DI and hastened my response to your suggestions. I do not have a DI manual as my version came gratis with a PC book. Also, my slave drive is very small and I can only store one image. Therefore I can't experiment with images cuz the one I get is the one I have to use. The one which finally worked came from the method of entering DI through DOS and creating a high compression image. This was the third attempt at getting DI to work through DOS entry. the other attempts were made using a medium compression option. I also forgot to create the DI boot floppys last night. Was a bit over-caffeinated and jumpy. I will avoid those afternoon coffees today and keep my head tonight. Don't worry about how you phrase your responses to me. I have been around long enough to realize you give 110% in order to help. ;-) ht Mag

mark ... as if I didn't have enough to do ... UPS just delivered my newest "experemental waste of time" ....http://www.tigerdirect.com/images/SKUimages/large/U450-1000.jpg anyone in possession of all their facilities who would want to spend effort to make one of these things work beyond the monitor function is open to close examination for mental problems ..... but now I have to hunt in the bone yard for an LLX board and other thingies to see if I can make it go ..... care to come over and help ? I might even use this pup to show the GrandKids how to build one from scratch ..... but before I start with them I WILL put it together and make it fly .... couldn't have them thinking what this whole thread already knows ...... LOL
