dj...well, you have your points, there certainly are no guarantees. If you look at the chart, it appears that AVNX is basing.....I dipped my toe in on this one, not betting the farm.

If indeed AVNX drops to $15, I would be down about $2.50 and I would write for the next month and probably be back to even, or ahead again.

If you want a sure thing, buy a CD or a money market fund....Personally half of my money is in cash, but I continue to use my SEPP-IRA as a covered call portfolio.

djia...avnx....not to mention that its recent price action is being considered as "nicely basing" which appears to miss the classic description of "basing" by quite a bit...

a few days of stability does not a base make...

so you don't subscribe to the "easy money" via "buy/write" on "falling (rubber???) knives" theory of wealth accumulation?????
