No question re retail is getting over bought. The reasons for the trend were stated here, re interest rate and tax cuts put more $ in consumers hands. However, if we do go into recession, the end result will be an even lower consumer confidence level, if we don't, $ flows will go back into techs, and out of the "safe havens" like retail....
All my own opinion and not followed by the clerks with their vested stock options in aisle four at Wal-mart.
