There are always gray areas. In the case of kids we should provide more guidance. I know it is very confusing for some.

Example: The bully pressures you not to tell because only a (fill in the blank) would tell. Bullies come in all kinds of packages. The bully could be the big mean boy or the girl who has everybody cow towing at her bidding. The theat may be physical harm or being outcast from a social sphere. What's a kid to do. Well if not telling means the bully gets to keep perpetrating harm, you must tell.

If some one accidently broke a cheap vase on the window sill of the classroom that had been sitting there with wilted, two month old flowers in it, do you tell? (gray area)
