CBOE QQQ Options Volume Sets New High

Chicago, March 8, 2001 - The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today
announced that reported volume in QQQ options on Wednesday, March 7 was
154,565 contracts (141,172 calls and 13,393 puts) traded.

Yesterday's QQQ options volume nearly doubled the previous high of 78,366
contracts traded on February 27, 2001. In its first seven days of trading,
the QQQ options have quickly become one of the most-actively traded index
products at CBOE.
