There was a case of a man being attacked, just in the last month. He was biking, alone, so be careful out there. Someone saw what was going on and stopped to help. The cougar had this guy by the neck and would not relinquish his prize, even though this guy who stopped, was beating on the cougar to get it off. Finally the guy took the wheel off the bike and used it to drive the cougar off. Just recently a woman who was training for cross country skiing, was found dead, also the victim of a hungry cougar. Not sure why the sudden rash of attacks are happening but rumors are circulating they were vegetarians. Sort of like grain fed beef I guess, :-)
