O.T. Is CompUSA stopping selling Athlon PCs?

From the register, I see.

Found this on the Moderated AMD thread, thnx to stribe30:

Cnet lead editor denies Register CompUSA Story

Just got an email from Michael Kanellos.. one of the head editors over there at Cnet.. he says the Register Story and the rumour behind it is not true.. to paraphrase, the product mix fluctuates on weekly basis with ad dollars.
Circuit City as an example, has been all Athlon Ads the past 2 weeks, while CompUsa is all Intel. He then states he has been told off the record this is nothing permanent on the part of CompUSA's part.. He also says that if one does a search at the CompUSA site.. one can find Sony 800 Athlons.

So.. theres the counter to that story.. I've kept the emails .. I just didnt think it too kocur to put them up here.

I think CompUSA will stop selling Athlon's when Compaq, HP and Sony stop building them. <g>
