Of course I am aware of the recession in tech sector. My point is that the entire speculative bubble has burst--the relative outperformance in new economy stocks seen since 1998 has vanished. If you consider the dividend yields seen in the DOW, one could argue that the NASDAQ actually has underperformed the DOW.

My question is whether fair value between the indexes has been achieved. And can the NASDAQ fall much further without the DOW caving as well? Similarly, can the recession in the tech sector remain segregated from the overall economy?
