Joel, what interest rate are you getting? I am receiving 3.875% on 3 months CD's The DM went from around 2.4 this summer to 2.1 today including interest that is a 16% appreciation. Dollar CD's at 5% a year are well below the DM performance. With lower interest rates in the US the DM may strengthen around 5% to 7% to 2 DM per dollar as the Euro will gain parity IMHO. If we are lucky then we may see 1.15 to 1.25 Euro to dollar the DM will no longer exist and the Euro will be the only European currency.. Haim
