SB, A rather interesting thing has happened to the semi-equips this week - they are up big time (the group of 31 stocks is up 9.3 percent for the first 4 days of this week) with a lot of earnings warnings and downgrades from investment houses. KLAC is up 13.8 percent for the 4 days this week - it was only down 1/4 point today, or 0.5 percent. KLAC was also one of those stocks given a "sell" rating by F S Van Kasper on 2/13. The "market" for semi-equips is not paying attention anymore to the "bad news" out there. It will be interesting to see if the INTC warning news tonight will have any impact on the semi-equips tomorrow. In after hours trading, many of the semi-equips are down, but that may, or may not, hold up tomorrow. Don
