There aren't many people left with your attitude. Most investors have, by now, come to the sobering conclusion that 1999-2000 in the Nasdaq was a wild party, and it's over. Ignore those years; they were the exception, the twice-a-century mania.

Good point. I actually think that the excesses are on the short side now after watching more than a handful of receding tide genuises for the past 6 months and identifying the same essential attributes they share with rising tide geniuses. Fear is more powerful than greed so while all the others are losing their heads......

TEN YEAR EXPANSION did not all happen just in 1999. NTAP will go back to highs within next 52 months if history is our guide. Every correction, was just the Pause that refreshes. The marklet will pick you up, just like Coca Cola, or do you think people will stop drinking coke, will corporations stop making and storing data? NTAP will recover before EMC, thats why I am buying NTAP now. Later I will buy EMC. I am mercenary on these things, however, I do want to see the convergence of NAS and SAN storage under the open source convergence schema of OSN standards, and even there NTAP has an advantage over EMC and the others, unless they change their market focus, and hardware and software services in a hurry. Storage is in is infancy, we have a lot of the past to store and much more "STUFF" to store in the future.
