Actions speak louder than words. IMO, the current capex budget doesn't make sense unless you are anticipating a quick recovery in demand.

Intel says it sees a second half recovery in chip demand. I don't know how ANYBODY can predict with certainty a recovery. Why don't these companies just shut up with the projections and deliver results. You offer projections and you risk creating MORE disappointment. hg

The inconsistencies are bothersome though. It seems everyone at INTC is on a different page.

(Oh and yeah Herb, companies shouldn't offer projections. We should buy and sell stock based on what side of the bed we got up on that day.)
