" Dan I am not the one to really respond to this but compilers are like api's. You give em away to get others to write the software. Everybody, including HP benefits. I haven't really considered whether these are copyrightable, but if they are then Intel may pay HP or HP's may be different, or they may have some other agreement. Like I said I'm not the one, unless there is a business explanation.... but boy, you are sure getting to be a nattering nabob of negativity
